My Bag My Story for Foster Children | Williamson County Sheriff's Office

Williamson County Sheriff Dusty Rhoades recently presented Cara Finger with $2,000 to be used for bags for foster children.  My Bag My Story mission is to improve the lives of children in foster care, elevating their sense of dignity and self worth.

The money was collected from donations from Deputies who bought a specially designed Christmas patch for their uniforms.

Cara said her group wants to give foster children dignity. Most people are unaware that children are often given a trash bag when they are removed from their home and we want to replace that with a nice durable bag for them to call their own. The bag represents to them you are worth it

You matter. For every bag sold My Bag My Story donates a bag to a child in foster care. We appreciate people at the Williamson County Sheriff's Office TN who come alongside us to help children feel valued. A bag seems so small but it makes a huge difference.
