Rep. Mark Green, currently serving the U.S. Congress for Tennessee’s 7th district, recently shared a series of statements on his social media platform addressing the achievements of former President Trump’s administration and contrasting these with those of the Biden administration. Green’s commentary has been shaped by his tenure in Congress since 2019, succeeding Marsha Blackburn, and his prior experience in the Tennessee Senate from 2013 to 2018.

On April 30, 2025, Rep. Green highlighted the differences in job creation between the Trump and Biden administrations. He stated, ” days under the Trump administration → 9,000 manufacturing jobs ADDED. Under the Biden administration → 6,000 lost each MONTH in the final two years.”

In a subsequent message the same day, Green asserted President Trump’s commitment to border security during his first term. He wrote, “During his first term, President Trump was devoted to securing our borders and reducing illegal immigration, and he went to great lengths to do so. The only way for us to make good on our promises to the American people is to codify President Trump’s agenda. Read more in my op-ed.”

Further, Green commented on the priorities set during Trump’s first 100 days, focusing on elements crucial to American citizens. He remarked, “The American people set the agenda for President Trump’s first 100 days. Key priorities? American families American patients American small businesses.”

Mark E. Green, 58, has a longstanding connection to Tennessee, with roots reaching back to his birth in Jacksonville, Florida. He is currently residing in Clarksville.
