Rep. Mark Green, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Tennessee’s 7th District, shared a series of tweets discussing various national issues and legislative initiatives. His tweets reflect his focus on energy policies, support for military families, and national security concerns over land ownership.

On April 11, 2025, Green expressed support for increased domestic energy production, affirming the maxim “Drill, baby, drill!”

By April 14, 2025, he emphasized the importance of supporting military families. Green wrote, “Our nation should be a shining example of how to treat our servicemembers and their families. It’s our duty and our honor to take care of America’s Gold Star spouses and families.” He linked to further information on his Protecting Gold Star Families Act.

Later on the same day, Green addressed national security concerns, warning against foreign adversaries purchasing U.S. lands. He stated that such actions could be viewed as a breach of public trust, urging readers to review details of the Protect American Lands Act.

Mark E. Green, a long-time Tennessee resident, has served in the U.S. Congress since 2019 after replacing Marsha Blackburn. Born in Jacksonville, Florida, in 1964, he also represented Tennessee in the state senate from 2013 to 2018.
