Rep. Mark Green, a U.S. Congressman representing Tennessee’s 7th district since 2019, recently shared his views on several pressing issues via social media. His statements reflect concerns over democracy, foreign influence in education, and cybersecurity.

On June 4, 2025, Rep. Green expressed concern about the potential misuse of authority by White House staffers during former President Biden’s tenure. He stated that “The thought that White House staffers took advantage of former President Biden to thwart American democracy is unconscionable. America must know the truth about the autopen.”

In another post dated June 5, 2025, Rep. Green addressed the presence of individuals affiliated with the Chinese Communist Party in American educational institutions. He asserted that “Any Chinese students, professors, or university staff who pledge loyalty to the CCP have no place in our institutions.”

Also on June 5, 2025, Rep. Green emphasized his commitment to enhancing cybersecurity measures within Congress and called for collaboration with industry partners to bolster cyber resilience against various threats. He noted that “I have prioritized cybersecurity in Congress, and I hope industry partners will join me in our mission to improve our cyber resilience against nation-state and criminal actors…”

Mark E. Green has been actively involved in legislative matters concerning national security and foreign policy since assuming office after Marsha Blackburn’s departure from Congress.
