Rep. Mark Green, a U.S. Congress member representing Tennessee’s 7th District, expressed several opinions via his social media account on April 23, 2025. Known for his contributions since replacing Marsha Blackburn in 2019, Green commented on various topics, including student loan repayments, administration effectiveness, and societal values.

In a post dated April 23, 2025, at 15:00:03 UTC, Green criticized President Biden’s student loan forgiveness policies, asserting that they “have cost taxpayers a fortune.” He called for borrowers to fulfill their obligations by resuming loan payments. Emphasizing the fairness of this approach, he mentioned taxpayers, many of whom either didn’t attend college or have already paid off their loans.

Later the same day, at 16:03:24 UTC, Green shared another tweet, stating that the “chaos and destruction of the Biden-Harris administration is a thing of the past,” indicating his disapproval of the current administration’s leadership.

Following that, in a tweet at 17:02:08 UTC on the same day, Green discussed societal issues, stating, “The radical left is happy to throw families under the bus to advance its gender ideology.” He expressed concerns that such ideologies could undermine parents’ rights and religious freedom.

Mark E. Green, born in Jacksonville, Florida, in 1964, resides in Clarksville and has represented Tennessee’s 7th District in Congress since 2019. He previously served in the Tennessee Senate from 2013 to 2018.
