Rep. Mark Green, representing Tennessee’s 7th district in the U.S. Congress, expressed his views and concerns through a series of tweets shared in early May 2025. The topics he addressed include the revocation of business licenses by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), actions by President Biden against gun sellers, and a legal brief regarding the FDA’s compliance with the drug approval process.

In a tweet dated May 1, 2025, Rep. Green shared, “In total, the ATF revoked more than 331 licenses since President Biden and Vice President Harris took office. That is, more than 331 business owners and even more employees lost their livelihoods.” He directed readers to his op-ed published in the National Review for further details.

Later that day, Rep. Green posted another tweet stating, “When President Biden couldn’t figure out a way to attack lawful gun owners because of Second Amendment protections, he decided to go after gun sellers instead.” He included a link to a letter he addressed to former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi, who was involved in several Second Amendment-related legal matters.

On May 2, Rep. Green highlighted his involvement in a legal matter regarding the FDA, tweeting, “This is exactly why I joined @RepPfluger in writing an amicus brief to the Supreme Court urging it to consider the Biden FDA’s failure to follow Congress’ statutorily prescribed drug approval process.” He included links to the brief and additional information.

Mark E. Green, who has served in Congress since 2019 after replacing Marsha Blackburn and previously served in the Tennessee Senate, continues to engage in legislative and legal efforts representing his district. He resides in Clarksville, Tennessee.
