On June 2, 2025, Rep. Mark Green announced via Twitter that he had received confirmation from the Department of the Treasury regarding an extension for Tennesseans to file their income taxes due to severe storms in April. “Last Friday, I received a letter from the Department of the Treasury confirming the postponement of the income tax filing deadline for Tennesseans in the wake of the catastrophic storms in April.” The new deadline is set for November 3, 2025.
Later that day, at 22:01 UTC, Green expressed gratitude towards TMA BlueTech for their support of his Save Our Shipyards Act. He conveyed his eagerness to collaborate further on this initiative with a tweet stating: “Thank you to @TMABlueTech for supporting my Save our Shipyards Act.”

He criticized what he described as a lack of transparency by saying: “The difference between the Biden-Harris CDC and the Trump CDC could not be more stark.” He introduced his VITAL Act aimed at restoring transparency in vaccine trial processes.
