Rep. Mark Green of Tennessee’s 7th district, active in the U.S. Congress since 2019, has recently shared his viewpoints on several significant political issues via social media. His posts reflect his stances on diverse matters ranging from campus protests to challenges on immigration and economic policies.

On April 29, 2025, Green took to social media to express his concerns over campus protests, stating, “These so-called protestors are actually pro-Hamas, antisemitic bullies targeting innocent Jewish students and faculty. Totally unacceptable.” Green’s remarks highlight his position on incidents involving Jewish community members on educational campuses.

In another post on the same day, Green criticized the current administration regarding immigration policies, contending that “using mass parole programs, the Biden administration released nearly 2 million inadmissible aliens into the country between Fiscal Years 2021 and 2024.” Green further compared these figures with policies during the previous administration by indicating that “under President Trump border crossings are down almost 100%. That’s the difference 100 days makes.”

Later that day, Green praised economic developments credited to former President Trump’s tenure, remarking, “It only took 100 days for President Trump to beat Bidenflation, add hundreds of thousands of jobs, and restore American energy dominance.” This reflects Green’s support for economic measures and energy policies implemented during Trump’s presidency.

Mark E. Green is a seasoned legislator who succeeded Marsha Blackburn, representing Tennessee’s 7th district since 2019. His background includes serving in the Tennessee Senate from 2013 to 2018.
