Rep. Mark Green, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Tennessee’s 7th district, has expressed his views on several national issues through a series of tweets. Green, who succeeded Marsha Blackburn in 2019 and previously served in the Tennessee Senate from 2013 to 2018, shared his support for President Trump’s initiatives and criticized the Biden administration.

On May 8, 2025, Rep. Mark Green stated his endorsement of President Trump’s initiative by saying “I support President Trump’s formation of the FEMA review council and I look forward to reviewing the recommendations.”

Later that day, he criticized the Biden administration with a tweet claiming “For years, the Biden White House lied to the American people about President Biden’s declining mental state—putting our national security at risk. The mainstream media bent over backwards to support the White House’s story, denying the truth that the American people saw with”

Additionally, Rep. Green highlighted economic policies by urging legislative action on tax cuts. He tweeted “President Trump has already taken action to grow America’s small businesses. Now it’s time for Congress to renew the Trump Tax Cuts and Jobs Act to ensure small businesses around the country can continue to thrive.”

Mark E. Green was born in Jacksonville, Florida in 1964 and currently resides in Clarksville.
