Cost of college was unchanged for all students at Empire Beauty School-Nashville

Tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at Empire Beauty School-Nashville, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Tennessee students paid $17,145 to attend the private for-profit school in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Data shows 90 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 24 students received grants or scholarships totaling $102,061 and 23 students took out student loans totaling more than $192,462.

Including all undergraduates (79), 76 students used grants or scholarships totaling $279,284, and 69 students took out $538,559 in federal student loans.
