The King University men's golf team closed the fall season with a 15th place finish at the McCoy Wright Currahee Invitational, shooting 920. Jose Luis Garcia Jimenez led the Tornado with a 42nd-place finish.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Garcia Jimenez improved each round after opening with a round of 78. He closed with rounds of 75 and 74 to finish with a stroke total of 227.
- Åasmund Norum wasn't far behind at 228. He carded rounds of 77 and 78 before closing with a round of one-over 73 in the final round.
- Tyler Kipp started the tournament with a round of 80 before improving to shoot 79 and 73 in the final two rounds. He finished with a total of 232.
- Carles Calvo Molina finished with a stroke total of 233 after shooting 76 in the first two runs and an 81 in the final round.
- Mark Sawyer shot and opening round of 82 before shooting 81 in the second round. He finished with a stroke total of 247 following a final round of 84.
- Anderson University won the tournament with a tournament total of 869 while Lincoln Memorial University finished second with a total of 872.
- Lincoln Memorial's Harry Lord was the individual medalist with a tournament total of four-under 212.
- King opens the spring season on February 13-14 at the Spring Kickoff at St. John's Golf Course in St. Augustine, Fla.
