The University of the South IHSA team competed in its final fall shows of the Advent Semester over the weekend, as the Tigers had two qualify for Regionals at the IHSA Maryville Show. Sewanee finished as the Reserve High Point Team after each meet on Saturday and Sunday. Additionally, two Tigers, Shelton Griffith and Mollie McWhorter qualified for the Regional Championships later this spring.
Along with Sewanee, Tennessee Tech, Tennessee, Murray State, Middle Tennessee, Maryville, Rhodes and Western Kentucky participated in the tournament.

SATURDAY'S TOP PERFORMERS
-Gigi Aiken was the Reserve High Point Rider after winning the Open Fences class and taking second in the Open Flat.
-Mollie McWhorter earned second place finishes in the Limit Fences B and Limit Flat A.
-Tony Calderon Gonzalez won his first class in his career in the Introductory.
-Liza Shoaf finished in second on the open fences. On the open flat, she took fourth.
-Laura-Ann Moore recorded a second place result in Limit Flat B.
-Nell Grady had a second place finish in the Intermediate Flat and fourth in Intermediate Fences.
-Sewanee secured Reserve High Point honors on Saturday, finishing in second place.
SUNDAY'S TOP PERFORMERS
-Shelton Griffith recorded a second place result on the Pre-Novice Flat.
-Gigi Aiken won the Open Flat Class and took fourth on the Open Fences.
-Laura-Ann Moore secured her first-ever win on the Limit Flat, while Mollie McWhorter also took the blue ribbon in the Limit Fences.
-Revie Atkinson secured second in the Limit Flat, while Nell Grady also posted a second place finish on the Intermediate Fences.
-Tony Calderon Gonzalez and Caroline Gramig each posted second place on the Introductory A Class, while Belle Gampher finished in third in the Pre-Novice Flat.
-Similar to Saturday, the Purple and White earned second place and reserve high point.
REGION STANDINGS AND INDIVIDUAL QUALIFIERS TO REGION CHAMPIONSHIPS
-After the fall semester, Sewanee sits in second place in the region standings with 129 points, trailing Maryville by 24 points. Here is the full leaderboard:
