Waves, Inc. is excited to announce its newest leadership. Rebekah Zeitlin was recently voted as President of Waves Board of Directors. Rebekah has served on the board since 2019 when she started as an intern through the Young Leaders Council. After a year as an intern, the board voted to have Rebekah join as a voting member of the board. Since then, Rebekah has contributed to the organization in a variety of ways. She has volunteered on the Development and Marketing Committee where is an active member helping plan fundraising events and craft the marketing strategy for Waves. The Executive Director at Waves, Lance Jordan shared, “As a valued member of the board, we are excited to have Rebekah step into this leadership role. She is an energetic member with a lot of great ideas for community engagement.”
Rebekah is a Franklin native and is a Relocation Manager at Zeitlin Sotheby’s International Realty. In addition to serving on the Board of Directors at Waves, she has also been involved with The Make A Wish Foundation and actively serves in her synagogue. When asked about her new position on the Board of Directors, Rebekah shared, “I’m honored to take on this role as Waves enters its 50th year of service to the Franklin community and beyond in 2023. The work of our incredible staff and volunteers at Waves, Inc. make my hometown an inclusive and vibrant community that strives to welcome and engage people of all abilities.”
Waves, Inc. has been providing services in Williamson County since 1973 with the mission to empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to progress toward their full potential.
