Congratulations Williamson County Sheriff's Office TN Deputy Mon Sirivong,  Nolensville Elementary SRO.   He was recently recognized as Williamson County Schools' first ever  "School Resource Officer of the Year".   He was nominated by NES Principal Kim Steinle and selected in a vote by Williamson County Schools and WCSO staff.  Here are some of the reasons Deputy Sirivong was selected for this award....

  "Officer Mon is very diligent in his duties in keeping our building safe and secure.   He not only ensures the safety of every person in the school building, but he also always greets everyone with a smile and positive attitude.  

     Officer Mon has made it a priority of knowing each student in the building. They look up to him as a role model and a friend.   He has taught the children if they need anything, no matter how big or small, (even if it’s to tie a shoe), an officer is there to help. He’s also taught the children how to be a good friend and to treat everyone with respect. 

     Officer Mon not only keeps our school safe, but he is an amazing person as well! He goes the extra mile to be supportive and friendly to staff. He has a wonderful working relationship with our school’s teaching and non-teaching staff and is always ready and willing to help in anyway that he can. "
