Census Bureau: 73% of people in Williamson County were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 242,386 citizens living in Williamson County in 2021, 73% were old enough to vote, equating to 176,920 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 86,046 were male, constituting 48.6%, and 90,874 were female, making up 51.4%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Williamson County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 77.6%.
