2.3% of citizens unemployed in Williamson County in 2021

Williamson County recorded an unemployment rate of 2.3% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 2,910 people out of the 242,386 living in Williamson County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Williamson County has decreased compared to the 2.5% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Williamson County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 5.3%.

Of the 124,368 people who had a job during that time, 67 were employed in the Armed Forces and 124,301 belonged to the civilian labor force.
