Rep. Mark Green, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Tennessee’s 7th district, shared a series of tweets regarding President Trump's recent actions and policies. The tweets highlight his support for the President's initiatives on border security and military readiness.

On January 20, 2025, Rep. Green expressed his approval of President Trump's efforts to secure the nation's borders. He stated, "President Trump is already working to secure our borders! ".

The following day, January 21, 2025, he elaborated on this topic by discussing executive orders issued by President Trump aimed at addressing cartel activities along the Southwest border. Rep. Green remarked that these orders signal an end to the cartels' control and brutality in the region. He noted his eagerness to collaborate with the Trump administration and relevant committees to continue these efforts: "In these executive orders, President Trump sent a message to the cartels that their time of brutality and control along our Southwest border is at an end. Later that same day, Rep. Green commented on military priorities under President Trump's leadership. He emphasized that the primary mission of the U.S. military should be deterring and defeating enemies of the United States, asserting that no one is better suited than President Trump to ensure armed forces are prepared for their missions: "Our military should have one mission—deterring and defeating the enemies of the United States. There is no one better suited to ensure our Armed Forces are mission-ready than President Trump."
