Rep. Mark Green, a U.S. Congressman representing Tennessee's 7th district since 2019, has expressed his views on various international issues through recent social media posts. Green, who succeeded Marsha Blackburn in Congress and previously served in the Tennessee Senate, has been vocal about his stance on foreign policy and national security.
On January 23, 2025, Rep. Green commented on the decision by former President Trump to re-designate Cuba as a state sponsor of terrorism. In another post on January 23rd, Green addressed cybersecurity threats facing the United States. He remarked that "Cyberspace is increasingly becoming a digital battlefield. America’s adversaries use cyberspace to undermine our sovereignty and threaten the services and infrastructure that America depends on." This statement followed discussions from a hearing by HomelandGOP.
