Rep. Mark Green, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Tennessee's 7th district, has recently expressed his views on educational policies and international issues through a series of tweets. Green, who succeeded Marsha Blackburn in 2019, is known for his advocacy on various fronts.
On January 31, 2025, Rep. Mark Green shared his commitment to educational reform during School Choice Week. He stated, "This #SchoolChoiceWeek, I’m committed to supporting policies that give parents a louder voice in their child’s education."
In another tweet posted on the same day, Green addressed the exploitation of medical professionals in Cuba. He urged global action against such practices and emphasized U.S. leadership in this effort. He wrote, "It is time for nations around the world to tell Cuba that its medical professionals should not be exploited, abused or threatened — and the U.S. should lead the charge." He also referenced an op-ed he co-authored with Eric Patterson from @VoCommunism published in The Hill.
Later that day, Rep. Green highlighted the limitations of traditional public schools for some students by stating succinctly, "For many, traditional public schools are simply not the best option."
