Mark E. Green, a U.S. Congressman representing Tennessee’s 7th district since 2019, recently shared his views on several key policy issues through a series of tweets. Known for succeeding Marsha Blackburn and having served in the Tennessee Senate from 2013 to 2018, Green continues to be an active voice in political discourse.

On January 31, 2025, Rep. Mark Green highlighted the impact of former President Trump's policies on immigration at the Southwest border. He noted that these policies have resulted in "a 60% decrease in illegal immigrant arrivals." "President Trump's policies are working."

In another tweet on the same day, Green emphasized the importance of school choice as a means to foster better-educated and more prosperous communities. He argued that no child should remain "in a situation that hinders their future educational and career prospects." "#SchoolChoice is essential."

Later that day, Green expressed his opinion on foreign policy by criticizing the previous status quo in Washington. He stated that this approach led to foreign policy challenges and advocated for leadership change by endorsing what he termed as a "disrupter-in-chief." "The old status quo... got us into a foreign policy mess."
