Let's remember these people, along with their friends and family." He also advocated for a measured approach to uncovering the causes of the crash.
On January 31, 2025, Rep. Burchett expressed concerns about national security regarding an individual allegedly granted access by the Biden administration to enter the United States despite connections with Taliban commanders. He urged action by stating, "The Biden administration willingly handed a visa to a man who enjoyed unrestricted access to top Taliban commanders."
