In another tweet posted on February 4, 2025, Rep. Green praised President Trump's foreign policy approach, particularly regarding tariff threats used as leverage with neighboring countries Mexico and Canada. He described it as "We are witnessing a masterclass in foreign policy." "President Trump’s tariff threats have already won the cooperation of both Mexico and Canada to secure our southern and northern borders respectively."
