Rep. Tim Burchett, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Tennessee’s 2nd district, has recently shared a series of tweets addressing various issues. Known for his direct approach, Burchett's social media activity often reflects his stance on governmental and political matters.

On February 3, 2025, Rep. Burchett expressed criticism towards PBS and NPR by stating "If @PBS and @NPR weren't kept alive by the American taxpayer, they wouldn't be on the airwaves." He thanked Chairwoman Marjorie Taylor Greene for inviting these organizations to testify and defend what he described as "anti-American garbage."

Later that day, Burchett highlighted a personal letter from President Saleh of Afghanistan in support of HR 260. He urged prompt action with his tweet: "This is a personal letter from President Saleh, the last President of Afghanistan. Pass HR 260 now."

On February 5, 2025, Rep. Burchett criticized HR776 for its financial implications without tangible benefits: "HR776 spends $60 million to reauthorize a worthless program." He questioned why it was brought to the floor and called for legislation that advances national interests.
