Rep. Mark Green, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Tennessee's 7th district, recently shared his views on various topics through a series of tweets. These tweets touch upon foreign aid, American business, and alleged misuse of taxpayer dollars by government agencies.

On February 6, 2025, Rep. Green criticized USAID for allegedly undermining diplomatic efforts abroad and pushing a "radical left agenda." He expressed support for former President Trump's actions in addressing these issues. "For decades, USAID has undermined diplomatic efforts abroad. This rogue organization has pushed a radical left agenda at the expense of U.S. national interests for too long; I am glad President Trump is cleaning house."

Later that day, he quoted country singer Blake Shelton to emphasize his belief in the importance of American companies operating within U.S. borders: "Blake Shelton said it best: 'Let me go home I've had my run Baby, I'm done I'm coming home.' American companies U.S. soil"

In another tweet posted shortly after, Rep. Green reiterated his concerns about USAID, accusing the agency of funding nonprofits linked to terrorist organizations and promoting radical gender ideology: "It’s clear that the rot within USAID runs deep. Radical gender ideology aside, USAID has knowingly sent tax dollars to nonprofits linked to terrorist organizations."
