Rep. Mark Green, a U.S. Congressman representing Tennessee's 7th district, recently shared his perspectives on various issues through a series of tweets. These posts covered topics ranging from economic conditions to legislative efforts and concerns about foreign influence via technology platforms.

On February 7, 2025, Rep. Green commented on the national economy by stating, "The Trump effect is already being felt around the country. Outlook on the economy is positive, job growth is soaring, and Americans are going back to work."

Later that day, he expressed support for new legislation aimed at ending chemical abortions. At 21:01 UTC, he tweeted: "I’m proud to cosponsor @RepOgles’ Ending Chemical Abortions Act. Life begins at conception, and as a physician, I know that drugs like mifepristone are a danger to the mother. We must end this deadly practice."

At 21:35 UTC on the same day, Rep. Green raised concerns about certain social media applications in relation to Chinese government influence. He stated: "TikTok, RedNote, and DeepSeek R1 are extensions of the Chinese Communist Party. Their algorithms censor critiques of the party and its leaders and promote anti-U.S. messaging. On top of this, these apps share a massive amount of metadata with the CCP."
