Rep. Mark Green, a U.S. Congressman representing Tennessee's 7th district since 2019, recently shared his views on several national issues through social media posts. His comments touched upon topics ranging from federal spending to workforce development and military recruitment.
On February 10, 2025, Rep. Green expressed his disapproval of an exhibit dedicated to Anthony Fauci at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), which was reportedly valued at $170,000. He stated: "It's laughable that Anthony Fauci was going to get a $170K NIH exhibit. I'm glad President Trump put a stop to it."
Later that day, Rep. Green emphasized the importance of strengthening the nation's cyber workforce. In his tweet posted on February 10, he said: "We must work together to rebuild our cyber workforce and equip these professionals with the necessary skills to defend the digital and critical infrastructure we all rely on."
On February 11, Rep. Green commented on military recruitment under different administrations. He attributed recruitment challenges to the Biden-Harris administration while praising improvements under President Trump’s leadership: "The Biden-Harris administration was directly responsible for our Armed Forces' recruitment struggles. With President Trump in office, young Americans are signing up for service in record numbers."
