On Sunday, April 6, former Franklin High School standout Drew Whalen’s current college team, the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers, lost 5-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Dallas Baptist Patriots.
The game took place at Horner Ballpark. This was their third matchup against the Patriots this season.
The Hilltoppers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 8 at 5 p.m. at Nick Denes Field against Southern Indiana Screaming Eagles.
