Williamson County announced on Mar. 26 that its annual Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event will take place on Saturday, May 2 from 8:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Williamson County Administrative Complex, located at 1320 West Main Street in Franklin.

The event is intended to provide residents with a safe way to dispose of household hazardous materials and promote community safety and environmental responsibility.

The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office plays a role in supporting community safety through initiatives such as prescription drug drop-off programs and Crime Stoppers, according to the official website. The Sheriff’s Office operates from its modern Law Enforcement Center in Franklin and functions as an agency of Williamson County government.
