The Williamson County Sheriff's Office Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force is pleased to announce that the task force has successfully completed investigations that resulted in the grand jury indictments of 15 adults related to sexual exploitation of a minor since May 2022. These investigations resulted in a total of 107 felony charges against persons attempting to bring harm to children. Some of these offenders shared images online that depicted the sexual abuse of children who were as young as three months old. With the help of WCSO K9 Remi, these cases also netted the seizure and examination of 26.5 terabytes of electronic evidence.
The WCSO-ICAC Task Force works proactively within the community to ensure that these violent sex offenders preying on our youth in the dark shadows are stopped and ultimately brought to justice.
