Rep. Mark Green, who represents Tennessee's 7th district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared his views on several issues via social media posts. Green has been serving in Congress since 2019 after replacing Marsha Blackburn and previously served in the Tennessee Senate from 2013 to 2018.
On November 21, 2024, Rep. Green expressed his stance on national principles by stating, "Meritocracy and equal treatment under the law are the principles our country was built on, not identity politics."
In another post on the same day, he highlighted concerns about healthcare access for Americans living outside urban areas: "Now more than ever, we must act to reverse the precipitous decline in healthcare access and ensure that Americans living outside cities are not left without access to emergency care."
The following day, November 22, 2024, Rep. Green commented on border security policies under different administrations: "On day one, President Trump will start SECURING our borders and PROTECTING our communities—something the Biden-Harris administration refused to do for four years."
