Rep. Mark Green, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Tennessee’s 7th district, has shared his views on various political and social issues through a series of tweets. Green, who replaced Marsha Blackburn in 2019, has been vocal about free speech, Social Security policies under the Biden administration, and economic strategies.

On February 20, 2025, Rep. Mark Green expressed his concerns about free speech in Europe. He stated: "It takes a great deal of courage to stand up to your enemies, but a great deal more to stand up to your friends. We cannot stand aside as free speech in Europe withers on the vine."

Later that day, he commented on Social Security under the current administration with a brief statement: "Social Security rolls thanks to the Biden administration."

In another tweet posted on February 20, 2025, Green emphasized the importance of bolstering the American economy by bringing companies back home instead of supporting foreign regimes. He remarked: "Instead of building up the economy of an oppressive regime, let's repair and strengthen our own. The best way to do that is to bring American companies home."
