We must defend the rights of the unborn. #MarchforLife".
Later that day, he commented on the implications of Roe v. Wade being overturned: "While the overturning of Roe v. Wade was a huge victory for life, more work must be done. In 2023, there were over one million abortions that took place across the country. We can, and must, do better. #MarchforLife".
In another tweet posted on January 24, 2025, Rep. Green emphasized his view on abortion as a critical human rights issue: "Abortion is the human rights crisis of our time. We must do better to defend these children."
