On March 5, 2025, Rep. Mark Green commented on national security concerns under the Biden administration. He stated that "Under President Biden, cartels almost took over our towns and cities—and on the taxpayer’s dime. Fortunately, President Trump is restoring law and order."
In another tweet posted shortly after, Green criticized environmental activists' fiscal priorities. He remarked that "When Green New Deal activists want to spend all the tax money on eco-crap: https://t.co/JziK2VLcZY" This reflects his opposition to what he perceives as excessive spending on environmental initiatives.
Later that day, Rep. Mark Green addressed the issue of gender participation in sports. He expressed support for an executive order by former President Trump concerning Title IX regulations by stating "Biological men have no place competing in women’s sports. President Trump’s executive order to protect Title IX and give our girls a chance at success is exactly what the American people demanded."
