He stated that "The failures that led to the tragic events of July 13 were not entirely isolated to the Trump campaign event itself, or the days preceding it." He emphasized preexisting leadership and training issues as contributing factors.
Later that day, he commented on an interim report by the Judiciary GOP regarding FinCEN's activities. He remarked that ".@JudiciaryGOP’s interim report on FinCEN’s financial surveillance of American citizens is chilling, and the role the FBI played is even more damning."
In another statement from December 11, Rep. Green expressed gratitude for receiving recognition from LegAnalysis. He tweeted his appreciation by saying "Grateful to be presented with the Champion of Limited Government award from @LegAnalysis!"
