Later that day, he reflected on a personal experience related to his military service on the anniversary of Saddam Hussein's capture: "As I reflect on the 21st anniversary of the capture of Saddam Hussein, I’m moved by the memories of the Special Operators I served alongside as their doctor during the mission. We got the intel and within half an hour we were in the air. That night impacted my life in many ways.…"
In another tweet posted on December 13, 2024, Rep. Green celebrated over three centuries of service by acknowledging members of a vital national institution: "Celebrating 388 years of our #NationalGuard and the citizen soldiers who are Always Ready, Always There!
