Rep. Mark Green, a current U.S. Congress member representing Tennessee's 7th district since 2019, has been vocal on social media about various national issues. In a series of tweets, he expressed concerns regarding the protection of sensitive technology, honored historical figures, and advocated for legislative measures aimed at reducing dependency on foreign manufacturing.

On February 17, 2025, Rep. Green highlighted security issues with sensitive U.S. technology. He tweeted: "The prior administration did not do enough to protect our sensitive technology. Any U.S. technology that ends up in the hands of Beijing can be weaponized against the American people." He emphasized the need for increased protection measures.

In another tweet posted on February 17, 2025, Rep. Green commemorated Presidents’ Day by honoring George Washington: "Today, we honor President George Washington, the indispensable leader of the American Revolution and the father of our nation."

On February 18, 2025, Rep. Green addressed economic concerns related to U.S.-China relations in manufacturing sectors: "I want what’s best for our children and grandchildren... It’s time to pass my Bring American Companies Home Act." He urged American companies to reconsider their reliance on Chinese manufacturing.
