Mark E. Green, a U.S. Congressman representing Tennessee's 7th district since 2019, has been vocal on various issues through his social media presence. Born in Jacksonville, Florida, in 1964 and currently residing in Clarksville, Green previously served in the Tennessee Senate from 2013 to 2018.
On March 26, 2025, Green addressed the issue of antisemitism on college campuses. He stated that "It’s time for university administrations to accept that antisemitism will no longer be tolerated on college campuses."
Later that day, he criticized the current administration's financial decisions regarding non-governmental organizations. He claimed that "The Biden administration gave billions to radical, unqualified, and clearly unvetted leftist NGOs. President Trump is ending this abuse of American taxpayer dollars."
In another tweet posted shortly after, Green highlighted an economic development initiative involving Hyundai. He noted that "This is another win for President Trump and the American people. Hyundai’s investment will bring thousands of jobs to the United States."
