In a tweet earlier that day, Rep. Mark Green extended his sympathies to the families and loved ones of four servicemembers who lost their lives in a training incident in Lithuania. He emphasized the ultimate sacrifice made by these soldiers in service to the nation, stating, "My heart goes out to the families and loved ones of the four servicemembers killed in a training incident in Lithuania. These soldiers paid the ultimate price in service to our nation and we are eternally grateful."
Later on the same day, March 27, 2025, Rep. Green supported an executive order issued by President Trump, asserting that it would safeguard the integrity of U.S. elections. He shared, "President Trump’s executive order ensures that our elections will no longer be abused by non-citizens."
In a separate message directed towards students in Tennessee’s 7th district, Green encouraged participation in the Congressional Art Competition, reminding students of the April 18 deadline. He invited their creativity by tweeting, "TN-07 students: Get those creative juices flowing! The deadline to submit artwork for the Congressional Art Competition is April 18th."
