He stated, "In recent years, there has been a growing trend on the part of Medicare and Medicare Advantage plans to require prior authorization for a wide range of medical services. Though a physician or other medical provider has already prescribed a course of care for the patient, insurers." This brief statement raises issues about the protocols that delay patient care.

Green highlighted, "Under the Biden-Harris administration, DHS apprehended an unprecedented number of special interest aliens (SIAs) illegally crossing our borders. @RepMTG’s Special Interest Alien Reporting Act would require DHS to publish the number of special interest alien encounters each month." Later, Green expressed support for Republican initiatives that aim to safeguard the nation. Mark E. Green has been serving in the U.S. Congress, representing Tennessee’s 7th district, since 2019, succeeding Marsha Blackburn. Previously, he was a part of the Tennessee Senate from 2013 to 2018. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida, in 1964 and currently resides in Clarksville.
