On March 13, 2025, Rep. Green expressed his support for Rep. Dale Strong’s SHIELD Against the CCP Act. According to Green, this legislation ensures that the Department of Homeland Security is adequately prepared to address challenges posed by China's alleged exploitation of the U.S. immigration system, intellectual property rights, and higher education institutions.

Later that day, he highlighted his own legislative efforts through a tweet regarding the bipartisan SOS Act. This act aims to establish a National Commission on the Maritime Industrial Base tasked with examining the state of the U.S. maritime industry and identifying barriers to its growth with particular attention to military needs.

In another post on March 13, Rep. Green addressed supply chain vulnerabilities by endorsing @RepCarlos’ bill. This legislation seeks to prevent the Department of Homeland Security from using batteries manufactured by companies associated with adversarial nations such as China. He urged swift Senate action on this matter.
