U.S. Congressman Mark E. Green, representing Tennessee’s 7th District, shared several opinions on his social media platform, focusing on international cybersecurity threats, national policies on immigration, and law enforcement actions. Green, who succeeded Marsha Blackburn in 2019, has a background in the Tennessee Senate and hails from Clarksville.

On April 1, 2025, Green expressed concerns about the cyber security threats posed by China and criticized the country's actions in cyberspace. "From the Typhoon intrusions to insecure apps such as DeepSeek, TikTok, and RedNote, China's ambitions to wage cyber warfare on the United States are clear. It's time we do more to counter Beijing's cyber espionage and targeting of the critical infrastructure Americans depend on."

Later that day, Green critiqued the immigration policies implemented by the Biden Administration, suggesting they inadvertently benefited criminal organizations. "This should be a no-brainer. Under Biden and Harris’ radical, unlawful policies, the cartels enriched themselves through increased human trafficking and drug smuggling across our country." The tweet further connected to an external page for more details.

In another post, Green advocated for the recognition of law enforcement officers who responded to a call for assistance, urging immediate corrective action from Attorney General Pam Bondi. "I hope AG Pam Bondi takes immediate action to correct this injustice. These law enforcement officers were responding to a call from their brothers and sisters. They did the right thing. They should be honored and emulated."
